Note to the reader: Since my mother spent most of the day yesterday in the emergengy room I will be doing today’s Monday (err…Tuesday) munchie.
As most of you know NaNoWriMo started last Tuesday so today’s munchie will be a writers themed chex-mix for writers to eat while writing.
You will need:
1 1/2 cups of rice chex cereal (paper)
1 cup of scrabble jr. cheez-its (words)
1/2 cup pretzel sticks (pens)
1 teaspoon general tso’s seasoning (ideas)
1 sheet of dried nori, chopped (ink)
3 tablespoons of butter (it’s just butter)
Directions:
In a large microwave safe bowl combine paper, words, and pencils, set aside. In a small microvave safe bowl melt the butter. Stir the ideas into the melted butter and pour over the mix. Microvave for 4 minutes stiring halfway through the cooking time. (I wasn’t thinking and cooked it for 6 minutes and burned it so be sure to watch it.) Add the chopped ink and spread out on a jelly roll pan to cool for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy while writing your novel!

Hmmm, nori in a mix. That’s a new one. Interesting ingredient. Like novels, the ideas (seasoning) could be most anything that appeals to you.
Thanks for posting Word Nord Teen and hope Mom is doing well.
