Book Blogger Hop & Follow Me Friday

Book Blogger Hop

Q. It’s that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

Oooohhhhh—- this is a tough one! The first thing that leaps to mind is Harry Potter’s world- after all, who wouldn’t want to be able to use real magic?  BUT- there is a lot of darkness and danger in Harry Potter’s world; I’m not sure it is really a place I would like to inhabit.

What about Who-ville?  That seems like it might be fun. (As long as we didn’t get carried off by Vlad Vladimir and dropped into a field of one thousand clovers.)

I think I would truly like to make Nancy Drew’s River Heights a reality.  Let’s face it, even the most hardened criminals in River Heights can be taken down by a 16 year old girl.  It seems like a pretty sweet place to me!

What about you? Please leave your answer in the comments!

      Hi Amy-

Who-ville is Dr. Seuss. :-) Remember Cindy Lou Who from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas? Horton Hears a Who?

      Thanks for stopping in-

  6. This week’s Book Blogger Hop really threw me a curveball.

That’s because I don’t call myself a book blogger. I never even considered myself a book blogger. Sure I blog about books and book-related topics week after week. But for some reason I never saw the label of “book blogger” applying to me.

If you’re wondering why then please hop on over to my blog and find out – http://www.howardsherman.net

    Hi! New follower.

I’ve never read the Nancy Drew books (shame on me!) but I had to laugh at your comment about the most hardened criminals getting taken down by a 16-year-old girl!

  9. michelle jones says:

The criminals in River Heights could be featured on World’s Dumbest….

I would love to see NYC in the 2060 from JD Robb’s In Death series. Many cool advancements of everyday things.

I love you for picking Nancy Drew. You just threw me back into my childhood.
